RESTORATION OF PROSPERITY PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT
GOVERNMENT PAY Discussion: Employment by the government is an
honor and a privilege as the pay is more steady and secure, in general, than
the private sector; and as a government employee, the employee becomes a
servant of the people. There are three categories of government employees:
elected, appointed and hired. The highest paid elected official is the United
States President. The President’s salary shall be $50,000, the same as former
president Grover Cleveland who was president in 1890 era when the THE PROPOSED
GOVERNMENT PAY AMENDMENT: This amendment must be phased in over a 50 year
period, as follows: 6% reduction to all government employees pay when
amendment is adopted and 2% reduction per year thereafter until the full
reductions are accomplished. The President of the The following pay levels are applicable after the
approximately 50-year phase in period. The phase in instructions above shall
be applied to all of the following: All elected US Senators and All appointed justices of the Supreme Court shall
be paid $44,000 per year, and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court shall be
paid $45,000 per year. Their previous
pay is terminated with the adoption of this amendment. All federal Judges Inferior to the Supreme Court
Justices shall be paid a maximum of $42,000 per year. Their previous pay is
terminated with the adoption of this amendment. The Directors of all Federal Agencies and Military
Agencies are to be paid a maximum of $40,000 per year with all other federal
military agency employees to maximum salaries of $38,000 or less. All government retirement pay for former retirees
and current or future retirees must be reduced in spirit of this amendment. Retirement is for the employee; it is the
employee’s obligation and choice to provide for their spouse and family
future benefits. All future government spousal benefits are cancelled. All State, County and City and any other
government entity; elected, appointed and hired persons pay must be reduced
such that: ·
Governors pay limited to a
maximum of $49,000 per year. ·

Mayors maximum pay limited to a
maximum of $48,000 per year. ·
All elected
representatives limited to a maximum of
$45,000 per year. ·
All Judges pay limited to a maximum of
$41,000 per year. ·
All hired employees pay
